The tricky part is knowing which is which. The really tricky part is knowing when to break that rule, too. In this case, though, the problem wasn't "copying a misfeature", I think it's that what is a feature for one package may be a misfeature in another, because the paradigms are different. Let's also be careful about bad-mouthing other packages, please.
