Hi Bob,

I tried installing in c:\users\brian , so no spaces in the path.  The 'Program Files (x86)' directory was selected by the Sourceforge installation process as the default.  I have tried it again into the users/brian directory to make sure, but no different.

Many thanks for your time and attempt to assist.  If you have any more suggestions, please let me know.

Did that directory too have a space in the path?
Spaces in the path have confused things in the past on some systems.
