Oh no, please :-) while the starting point was the same we started
this work first:

Please see the 'use-docks' config key.  It had been added by one
of our best devs known as 'dmn' or Dmitry and his work has been
adopted by Roland for gschem later.  So we were first :-) Dmitry
has introduced 'tabs' as well ('use-tabs').

Yes, lack of good updated documentation is our weakness.  I've
started writing a manual for lepton, though it's very difficult
for me due to the amount of code we have and since my first
language is not English.  Any contributions are welcome.

(Moreover, I'm now busy with porting Lepton to Gtk3 and there is
quite a lot of issues in this direction, too.)
