I get the swapped component foot print thing, I think= it's due to loading the first footprint it finds with that name, a few= footprints are duplicated and tend to swap randomly for me.=C2=A0 I change= d the search order for assets and maybe deleted a few that were problematic= .

I'm on

Hello ,

= =C2=A0 =C2=A0 I am trying to use PCB on FreeBSD 10.2 from their ports colle= ction. It has built and sort of works, but there seems to be a problem when= saving a file. The version of the software in the ports collection is=C2= =A0pcb-20140316

=C2=A0 =C2=A0 When I try = to create a printed circuit board: I add an SMD foot print for 0805 resisto= r, save to a file, then open it again, the foot print is wrong. (See image = attached below. )

=C2=A0 =C2=A0 The two top foot = prints (in the image) have been added before the document was saved. The fo= ot print at the bottom was just added after the file was opened and is the = correct representation.

Does anyone else have thi= s problem?

=
Also, I have noticed the following issue. Whe= n opening, then saving the file=C2=A0pcb-20140316/examp= le/LED2.pcb =C2=A0in a different location the file data gets rewritten. The= rewritten file has the following =C2=A0entries

=C2=A0 =C2=A0 Pad[0.0000 -0.2377mm 0.0000 30.00mil 12.00mil= 30.00mil 42.00mil "CH0" "1" "square,edge2"]<= /font>
=C2=A0 =C2=A0 Pad[26.= 00mil -0.2377mm 26.00mil 30.00mil 12.00mil 30.00mil 42.00mil "CH1"= ; "2" "square,edge2"]

The origina= l file contained the following lines:

=C2=A0 =C2=A0 = Pad(0 30 0 -30 12 30 42 "CH0" "1" 0x00000100)
=C2=A0 =C2=A0 Pad(26 3= 0 26 -30 12 30 42 "CH1" "2" 0x00000100)

Why is -30mils converted to -0.2377mm? Should it not be 0.762mm, sin= ce 1mil =3D 0.0254mm?

I am new to PCB. So maybe I mis= s understood something.

<= /font>
I would appreciate any help y= ou may provide.

Stefanos
