Does anybody have any ideas why? Thanks. XP and DOS.WIN 9x do and will function differently for Vesa calls. I have found that Vesa under 2000/XP do not support the tripple buffer modes and a few or the higher resolutions. This in on the sam PC booting XP and then DOS 6.22 for a comparision. I have no idea why or what causes the differences. I would advise that you save some time and look at Allegro for the graphics routines.
