Kill the DJGPP installation directory you have now (or archive it
away), and install from scratch, following the usual, DJGPP
specific(!) instructions.  Forget aobut hostss and targets for now ---
you only need to worry about those if you want to do things a lot more
complicated than what you're attempting right now.
