Cut to the answer:-
1) Goto the http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/ web site and then click on
the "Current DJGPP status vs Windows 2000 and XP (unofficial)"
hyperlink.
2) Once there have a good read of the info.
3) Now you have two options to choose from, you only need to do one:-
	3a) Download the 2.04 beta files from
http://clio.rice.edu/djgpp/win2k/main_204.htm
	3b) Download the 2.04 beta files from 
		i) ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/alpha/v2gnu/
		ii) ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2/alpha
	     Do not download the files from
ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/alpha/v2 as they are old....
4) Install the files from 3a) or 3b) in a new directory. DO NOT
INSTALL IN THE 2.03 DIRECTORY!!!! RTFM for more info
5) Copy your batch files into the new directory and modify for use
under XP.
6) If you are using RHide then go and grab the 1.5.0.1 snapshot from
www.rhide.com in the snapshot area. Note that you still may get some
crashes with Rhide 1.5.01 and if you do then start rhide with a "-S"
(needs to be upper case S).
7) If you need other DJGPP packages then I would advide to rebuild
them after reading the DJGPP readme files as to why.
8) Now build....
