It works under DOS, OS/2, Windows 3.x and Windows 95. Installation and configuration is fully automatized. Menus and online help are available in French and English (warning messages only in French, up to now). Language is chosen at installation time. Installation option "View/Prn" allows to install all that is required to view and print dvi documents, and all required files can be downloaded from directory AsTeX/Install/A_View_Prn. Installation option "Minimal" allows to install all that is required to compile TeXinfo documents and view/print them. It contains also support for TeXinfo documents in French or other European languages with accented letters. TeXinfo files with 8 bits characters (for example translation of docs) can now be processed. The file README in directory AsTeX/Readme (French version: ALIRE) provides more information on the contents of the distribution. The files ftp.en and quickins.en (French version : ftp.fr, quickins.fr) provide more information on downloading and installing the distribution. The files idx_base.en and idx_cplm.en (idx_base.fr and idx_cplm.fr in French) provide an index of files with a short description of their contents. Comments and criticisms are very welcome.
