I got djgpp a few days back, and a few sample programs I tried
seem to work for me. After reading the current discussion on EMM386
and the V86 mode, I got the impression that it is necessary to
use EMM386 to have go32 work correctly. I read the FAQ which
came with the distribution, and I gathered the same impression
from the FAQ too.

However, I checked my config.sys file, and noticed that it only installs
HIMEM.SYS; it does not install EMM386.EXE. Is it then a fluke that
go32 worked correctly for me? (I have an NEC 386/25 system using DOS 5)
Or do I really need to install EMM386.EXE too?
