Subject: VESA driver

The test release of driver is ready for shipping, BUT due to problems with
ftp connections, I cannot transfer it anywhere, even to a friendly machine at
the top of our country network.
I am sorry for the delay. If it happens to me to transfer it successfully to
any ftp site, I will announce it immediately.

I would like to ask you if anyone knows how to distinguish between 32K, 64K
and TrueColor (Sierra) RAMDACs. If you have such info, please send it to me.
VGA BIOSes do not seem to care very much about DAC type, and use to enable
direct color modes regardless of the type of DAC chip.
