FAQ for G++ says. It says that "significant" bugs remain in gcc-2.3.2 and that it can not compile some of the code in libg++-2.2 that is known to be correct. gcc-2.3.3 is expected to be released soon and the FAQ recommends that unless you really need template support, you wait for that release. Perhaps we would all best be served by waiting for a more stable release of gcc rather than have somebody go to the trouble of getting the current release to work.
