Keystrokes seemed to go to the modem, but the echos did not return (for example, a dial command he could hear on the speaker, even connect to the remote, but still silence at the screen). He was using EMM386/HIMEM. A reboot fixed it of course. He also found that some set of keystrokes involving the NumLock key (something like Shift-NumLock AT he finally discovered would wake it up). Too bizzare for me to diagnose. It was acting like the receive interrupts on his com port were getting lost when running Kermit anytime after GO32. I have an older version of Kermit and have not seen this problem. Unfortunately he is about 3000 miles away and understands little about PCs. Anyone else seen a problem with the latest Kermit and any DJ version?
