Subject: Too many files on gcc command line at link phase

To use gnuish make with 1.08 (7?) or later, add this line:

LONGARGS = gcc:ar

This allows gcc and ar to have long command lines.  Alternatively, you
can put the command in a file called, for example, "gcc.cmd" and use
"gcc @gcc.cmd".
