I downloaded the web2c and tex.web files from Stanford, used a SUN workstation to create the .c and .h files, took them home to my PC, made a few minor changes (changed the system dependent #define's and changed the fopen modes fron "r" and "w" to "rb" and "wb") , compiled it and it works. This should be a full 32 bit implementation of TeX which works really identically to the Unix version and which can be updated as new versions of tex.web become available. I will install it on my ftp directory. Use anonymous ftp to ftp.math.psu.edu and look in the directory pub/melvin/pctex. Get the files read.me and tex.zip. You will have to get your own input files and .tfm files and .pk files and screen viewer and printer driver. Most input files that anyone could ever want are to be found in sub-directories of pub/melvin/tex.
