Someone posting wanted to know where docs for GAS were at (BTW, the message had
a date of late July on it - did it make a trip to the Bermuda Triangle for
a while?).  Another well intentioned soul offered a list of official GNU
archive sites.  To my knowledge, the GAS docs are NOT part of the official
GNU stuff (I don't know why) so you have to look elsewhere.  Archie lists
tons of places that have it.  Try this one:
    cheops.cis.ohio-state.edu   in /gnu/gas
Those of you outside the US might want to check Archie for a closer site.
There are quite a few places in Europe, for example, that also have the GAS
docs.  Good luck.
