From: kemp AT convex1 DOT convex DOT com (Phil Kemp) Subject: djgpp 1.08 and serial comms... To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (djgpp mailing list) Date: Sat, 12 Sep 92 10:46:05 CDT I have just joined this mailing list so I apologize if this has recently been covered. (Please send me a summary/fix if so) I have been using djgpp 1.08 to compile dv/x X-apps with the Quarterdeck DV/X libraries. When I'm trying to compile or run 1.08 compiled programs and simultaneously using an async. comm. package, the async TX/RX lines seem to hang. (This of course is under DV/X)... I can still access the comm. program and toggle the DTR signal but any attempts to send data fail. I'm using a 9600 V.42bis modem and my comm. port has a 16550AFN chip which is enabled by my comm. program, Pro-YAM. Any help is appreciated.
