Yes, but there are commercial X products which are also *just* a server,
and this would satisfy my needs (and a lot of others too, apparently,
otherwise these products wouldn't sell very much).

I don't want it! All I want is some way for my 386 pc users to graphically
log into our suns, and also the ability to use the nice color SVGA screens for
output from the suns. (By the way, this is not for the univerity, just
hobby work). No need for windows or full pc unix.

Since some people have asked: wattcp is available from sunee.waterloo.edu in
the directory pub/wattcp. This is the most recent version; lots of sites
store other versions (ask archie). It is freely redistributable and programs
compiled with it are yours to do with whatever you please. Selling the
library (source, OBJ, LIB) or distributing modified versions requires
permission from the author. For full details, see include/copyright.h,
included in the wattcp.zip file.

By the way, wattcp does *not* include a PC NFS client. As far as I know,
there does not exist a freely redistributable PC NFS client.
