I have downloaded it twice from 'barnacle...' and obtained identical files. (1) I get a scampble when unzipping it. The first file which comes O.K. is build.bat. (2) When I run the binary f2c I get strange results. (a) On a 386/387 machine with DOS3.3 with NO djgpp installed I get no action at all. f2c just returns to the command prompt. (b) On a 486 machine with DOS4.01 and djgpp installed I get a null pointer violation for every line of input, from file or from the screen. The only output is the introductory message and #include for f2c.h. I am keen to use the program. Please let me know what the requirement is from the DJGPP environment for this to work. I have been using Version 1.06 of DJGPP system. Thanks John P.S. I shall be away for about 2 weeks, so won't read answers after today till I get back. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Dr John P.
