From: Guangxi Wu Subject: Help: DJGPP compiled program seems to give wrong output. To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (DJGPP) Date: Thu, 23 Jul 92 16:52:19 PDT Hi, netters: I am writing a finite element model for water and chemical transports in soils. I compiled my program using Turbo C++ and it runs OK. Then I compiled the same programs with DJGPP version 1.07. It compiled ok with no complains. It also runs with 'go32' but it give results different from the Turbo C++ compiled program and the results seem unreasonable. Then I compiled the same programs (I should add: without any modification because I wrote a directive to indicate which include file to use) using DJGPP ver. 1.05 on another machine. The compilation is ok, but when I run the program with 'go32', it fails to converge (in the program I used iterative method). I don't know what the problem is. Any one in the net has the same experience and is willing to help? By the way, I compiled the program with '-lm' option only to use math library. E-mail or post in the net is ok to me. I will provide a summary to the net if appropriate. Thanks in advance.
