Just in case anyone can help me fix it without reformatting and restoring, the symptoms are that about 16 megs of unused space have "disappeared" and the computer can no longer boot from the hard drive. If I boot from a floppy everything is fine except for the missing megs. I will be sending a complete bug report to DJ. I hope this apparently known problem can be fixed; it certainly qualifies the usefulness of djgpp. Sincerely, Frederick Umminger
