Subject: Bug in strtoul(), and a fix

Isn't this one of several bugs we have seen involving how unsigned
longs are handled?  The program I have which ran successfully under
1.05 but not under 1.06 (pari-gp, a mathematical package) also uses
unsigned longs a lot, and I have been wondering whether they are what
causes the problem.  I am not keen on patching sources, so I am just
waiting for 1.07 with fingers crossed.
