This is probably a question more to DJ then to the list, but if someone
else may help me...

In version 1.05, ar was said to need two passes to create and sequence a
lib (Whatever this means). With 1.06, the Makefiles seem to build the
libs in one pass (ar rvs ...), BUT the libs grow larger and larger. ar
always reports to 'a'dd a module, never to 'r'eplace an existing one.

Is this because i took the modules from a subdirectory (o/foo.o) or is
it a bug in ar? Where do i find some docs for ar?
