I have worked on this problem in conjunction with Ralf Brown (the author
of the spawno package). It seems I was using spawno in go32 to allow
spawning with the biggest dos space possible. Things worked fine with 
version 2.0, but the current version 3.0 (and the beta test version 4.0),
do not work. Neither of us could resolve the problem (which is the system
crashes if the application uses "virtual" memory) so I continue to use
spawnv20 for go32.
