Most of my programming involves solving mathematical equations (ODE/PDE), and I don't know anything about asembler programming and things like that. I have used TC for a while and experienced that if my arrays and tables get to big, strange things starts to happen and these things can be fixed by using a "larger" memory modell. Of course on other computers I use (HP-UX or VAX) this is no problem. As far as I can see djgpp might solve these kind of problems (on a 386) or does it?? I don't want to be bothered by figuring out the maximum size of the arrays, I just want to declare them and then wait for the computer to calculate the answers like I do on Unix or VAX systems. Am I on the right track with djgpp?? And while I'm at it. The documentation that comes with djgpp is kind of lean.. Any sugestions of what books to use as manuals?? -- \\___// | | Hallvard Paulsen, MSc |_____| Research Engineer / Grad.
