Less is a paginator similar to more and pg with better features like backwards as well as forward scrolling and searching for regular expressions within the file being viewed. DJGPP specific changes ====================== There are no DJGPP specific changes to the sources at all. The binaries have been produced compiling the sources out of the box. Less author Mark Nudelman already supplied man pages, but these were made with GNU Troff (groff) version 1.18, which outputs SGR escape sequences by default. To view such pages you have to use the '-R' option of Less. For compatibility with existing DJGPP installations binary packages (lss418b.zip) include 'old style' man pages produced by the DJGPP port of groff version 1.16. Source code package (lss418s.zip) still includes 'new style' man pages. Getting ======= The port consists of two packages that have been compiled using djdev203p2 and that can be downloaded from ftp.delorie.com and mirrors as: Less 418 binary, man format documentation (timestamp 2008-01-16): ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2gnu/lss418b.zip Less 418 source (timestamp 2008-01-14): ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2gnu/lss418s.zip For the convenience of the Windows XP users binaries compiled with djdev204 are also distributed and can be downloaded from ftp.delorie.com and mirrors as: Less 418 binary, man format documentation (timestamp 2008-01-16): ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2gnu/lss418b.zip Feedback ======== Send Less specific bug reports to .
