What would anybody recommend as far as research (reading materials) and, more importantly, would anyone be willing to work with me on it? It would be wonderful to have these tools. There are many applications, like embedded systems, and maybe to write the 32-bit boot code in even. But personally, I want to write device drivers and such using Caldera's DPMS, mostly for experimentation now. Having free 16-bit development tools would be great for the task. Also it would be my goal to be able to write 16-bit protected mode code as well... I can't think of a single compiler out there, commercial or otherwise, that can do that. Any takers? -- =========================================================== David M. Lloyd mailto:david AT inxpress DOT net Administrator Internet Express, Inc. 802 W.
