You must not. Type at a DOS prompt: set DJGPP=c:\djgpp\djgpp.env (updating the path if necessary). That should make the error go away. If it does then something is wrong with your setting of DJGPP in the autoexec.bat. If the error does not go away then you must give more information. Exactly where is djgpp installed? Please reboot then post the result of typing `set > environ.txt' at the DOS prompt, along with the full text of your autoexec.bat and config.sys. > Everything else in the package works, rhIDE, DJASM etc, etc.... They probably don't actually work; they just don't check that the environment variable is properly set. Please read `readme.1st' for installation instructions, and read the first chapters of the FAQ -- they deal with setting up djgpp and diagnosing problems with the installation. Look at FAQ section 6.6 and particularly section 8.1, for information on the DJGPP environment variable. -- george DOT foot AT merton DOT oxford DOT ac DOT uk xu do tavla fo la lojban -- http://xiron.pc.helsinki.fi/lojban/lojban.html
