Hmm... don't know if it will be ok, but you can try TVision, for that you must 
download the RHIDE sources (http://www.tu-chemnitz.de/~sho/rho/) and the 
sources of TV 2.0 from Borland (look for a link in these pages or in my pages).

It doesn't look as a cross-compiling to me, anyways, if you have the sources 
you can try to recompile it under DOS.

Look in the v2tk directory, there are a couple of libraries for that. You can 
try Palantir too (v2tk/allegro) but there are some limitations:

1) License: GPL (Palantir & PDMLWP).
2) Doesn't run under Windows.
3) You'll have to work to join TVision or other library with Palantir or other 
of the multithread libraries. Palantir is event oriented so I think is more 
switable.
4) They aren't portable to UNIX. TVision is available for Linux, but the 
multithread packages for djgpp aren't POSIX compliant.
