Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I seem to remember seeing some of this stuff posted before, but the mail archive search stuff at delorie.com wouldn't let me find anything useful (must of the stuff that if found when I did a search for "file utils" was from 1994...neat!). Anyway, are the file utils that come with 2.01 totally hosed? Witness the following LS antics: C:\>ls Autoexec.old bin dev gm.bat tmp Config.old bin32 djgpp2 go.bat vbeaf.drv My Documents command.com dos gr.bat wina20.386 Program Files command.dos drivers gs.bat windows Utils config.dos games gt.bat autoexec.bat config.sys gd.bat logo.sys autoexec.dos data gf.bat scandisk.log C:\>ls dev Autoexec.old bin dev gm.bat tmp Config.old bin32 djgpp2 go.bat vbeaf.drv My Documents command.com dos gr.bat wina20.386 Program Files command.dos drivers gs.bat windows Utils config.dos games gt.bat autoexec.bat config.sys gd.bat logo.sys autoexec.dos data gf.bat scandisk.log C:\>cd dev C:\dev>ls graphics colorq eglib2 font o3d eglib fileform load_s3x.c vectors C:\dev>cd graphics C:\dev\graphics>ls d:/djgpp/bin/ls: .: No such file or directory (ENOENT) Is it just me, or is there something quite wrong with all of this? My system is running Win95, but it behaved the same way after doing a DOS boot. I should also note that LS performed quite normally on a networked drive (mounted from a Linux box) and on my SCSI Zip Drive. It also seemed to work on my other SCSI hard drive. Why does it malfunction on my C drive? BTW, both C and D are *identical* Fujitsu M2624F-512 SCSI-1 hard drives. My controller is an Adaptech 2920.
