It's good in these respects.  I looked at it a bit more and the problem is
when I have two different wires in gschem with the same netname=foo
attribute.  This causes pcb to connect connect these nets with rats
as desired, but for some reason it also causes the netname to not
show up in the netlist window.  Maybe I'm not using this mechanism
in the intended way?  But it's pretty convenient for keeping schematics
from getting cluttered with lines.
