have you looked a fritzing?  It's aimed at beginner electronics, but has a mode that documents
wiring done on proto-boards, (a sea of holes for pushing wires into).  It might be possible to use it
for terminal strips somehow.  Maybe you could even modify its code and get the junction box drawings that way?
