Subject: [geda-user] Looking for pcb slot mounted 6.3mm spade female receptors for
automotive relays
To: geda-user <geda-user AT delorie DOT com>
Reply-To: geda-user AT delorie DOT com

Hi,
I am reworking a John Deere tractor dashboard pcb, and JD does not use
relay sockets, but rather mill slots in the pcb and insert 6.3mm spade
receptors which are soldered. The arrangement of slots then fit the
standard automotive relay. The PCB is one-sided, and the component
side and the copper side is the same. I am looking for these 6.3 mm
spade receptors, but they are very difficult to find on the net.

Three pictures showing what I call spade receptor, but maybe it is
called something else:

I am also looking for something even more complicated for the same
board: PCB soldered spade male connectors with PCB edge slots. This is
to insert a PCB carrying the fuses.

The original pcb is made by VDO (Siemens) in Germany as this is a
Mannheim made JD.
