Subject: [geda-user] [pcb-rnd] RFC: old plugins

Hi all,

because of the cleanup plans, I decided it was the best time to import
old/floating pcb plugins to core plugins in pcb-rnd. This makes it easier
to keep them up to date with core changes, but other than that they are
still plugins, without coupling to other plugins. The current state is
published at:

http://repo.hu/projects/pcb-rnd/features/oldplugins.html

Request for comments:

If you know about any PCB plugin that is not on the above list, please let
me know. I am interested even in the bitrotten or otherwise unusable ones,
to complete my list.

There are two plugins left on my initial list: elementupdate.c and
footprint-update/ - it seems they try to solve the same problem. Does
anyone have experience with them? Is it worth porting neither, both, or is
either one clearly better than the other?

TIA,

Igor2
