Just starting out with gschem and hit a problem that I can't seem to
resolve.

8 pin dual op-amp shows power and ground (pins 8 and 4) on both 'slots'.
How can I remove them from one symbol so they appear only once?

I have tried removing them from the slotdef for slot 2 but it makes no
difference.

Any help will be much appreciated.
