In pcb-rnd the one inherited from mainline is:

trunk/tests/orig/run_test.sh

it compares outputs to golden (reference) outputs. I think it doed not do 
the blur-compare we'd want to do between pcb-rnd and mainline to ignore 
very small differences (e.g. effects of antialiasing).
