There is no pin2sym.pl but if you want to know pintosym.pl better, try

 pod2text pintosym.pl  | less

after you downloaded it. There are some (not well documented) examples
in

 http://turkos.aspodata.se/git/openhw/pdftosym/
 http://turkos.aspodata.se/git/openhw/share/gschem/

and subdirs. Look for files named .pins or similar. You could possibly
start looking at:

 http://turkos.aspodata.se/git/openhw/pdftosym/examples.pintosym/stm32f100lm.act
