Yes I heart that Java is the basic language teached at universities
today. But my impression was that smart students do not really love that
language.

One more completely ignored project. I guess only in German language,
but maybe you can manage to launch it. I was going to try it, but I
think I will not really have time before end of this year, and I never
used Java, I guess it is not installed on my Gentoo box currently.
