This is a self amplifying process. Because the library system is not
well organised, users create their own library. Each user create the
library, so there is N times the same thing in the library, which is then
makes it a mess.

I would use some database system for the task. If I recall correctly, there
are at least 3 database driven library system for gEDA. I wrote one.

I would gladly say good bye for my own system, if the gEDA core team would
say that "this is the preferred db library system". Or, I'd gladly give
away my own system for the community.

Yeah. I did that, and then I started to roll my own library.

Yes, but I'd make the .fp general, because it is SO16.fp.

Oh yeah... the good old Motorola PLL. :-) I love it!
