Thank you for your rapid reply. I dont think that there are any 
important argumentas to claim new releases, I did not have any 
complaints from Mageia users (which are no very numerous). For pcb users 
there will be marked progress by advancing to 20110918. With geda-gaf, 
Mageia presently already has a release that Geda still denotes as 
"unstable", but opting for that already in Mageia 2 appears to have been 
a good choice.

Side-effect: that makes life easier for the maintainer (-
