Even worse: If some of the parts do not contain a footprint attribute,
the component may fail to put it in the netlist at all. Specifically,
gnetlist always chose the symbol in the file to determine the
footprint. Order in the file depends on the order the symbols were
entered. This was one of the long standing bugs, that were finally
dealt with about a year ago. Now, gnetlist checks for conflicting values
of attributes and issues warnings. Unfortunately, like I wrtoe before,
gnetlist currently regards an absent footprint attribute as conflicting
with an existing footprint attribute value.

The more general problem of output depending on the order of GUI input
also remains to be dealt with.
