Hi all. Am just wondering ...

Is there any scope for TCAD software in the gEDA project?

I know of two or three open-source semiconductor design tools already:
1. Archimedeshttp://www.gnu.org/software/archimedes/ and it's counterpart for 3-d modelling Aeneas http://www.gnu.org/software/aeneas/
2. General-purpose Semiconductor Simulatorhttp://gss-tcad.sourceforge.net/ (no longer being developed)

(Cogenda also have an open-source version of their Genius Device Simulator but I suppose they are less likely to affiliate themselves with the gEDA community?)

I'm just wondering if gEDA would be interested in affiliating themselves with these projects.
(I'm not involved in any of the afore-mentioned projects personally, and don't know whether the authors would be interested - but there's no harm in asking.)
