Sorry, a little bit off topic:

What do you think about my new grid selector?

http://www.ssalewski.de/PetEd.html.en

I have a major and a minor grid, which can be selected by a GTK Combo
box. Each has a set of predefined spacings, and additional each has one
custom value from user configuration. Additional to the pulldown list
user can type in arbitrary values, and can temporary add them to the
(top) of the pulldown list with the context menu of the entry widget.
The green checkmark is used to select which of them (major/minor) is the
current active snap grid.

(It is 65 lines of code, at the top of file peted.rb)
