I need a cable for a dual DC power supply (4 conductor) where one is 3.8V
max 7A and the other is 12V max 1A max 50 degrees C. I'd like it as
flexable as possible.

Through Alpha Wire I was recommended to use P/N 1896/4C which is an 20
AWG (7 x 28 strand) per conductor with the following insulation
characteristics: UL Type CM, UL AWM 2509, UL CSA CMG FT4, 300V (Insulation:
Color-Coded PVC)

My problem is that it is only sold by 100 foot spools for $58 and I only
need about 2 feet for prototyping. I got 4 conductor 17 AWG single
stranded from Lowes but it is so stiff that I'd rather find something
else. Any suggestions? For aesthetics I'd like it to be 1 cable.
