Thanks for bisecting Gabriel, it always helps for regressions when
people do that ;)

It turns out there were a few mistakes in the commit you identified. We
ended up computing the inverse slope of a vector (when we needed the
slope), then repeated the same calculation (with the same line-end)
again, rather than with the other end of the line.

Doh!

All fixed in git HEAD now.
