I don't care for the way releases or milestones are technically managed.
The geda project is traditionally a bit on the frugal side for both.
Specifically, it has been quite some time since pcb has had a "stable"
release. Has there ever been a set of milestones for geda as a whole or
any of its parts?

I'd be very happy to see releases and milestones. Would cheer for anyone
who goes ahead and releases milestones :-)
