If you mean schematic made in gschem, not pcb layout, there is a
new utility named `gaf' in 1.9.x series that can already do what
you want. Try `man gaf' ;-)

Do you mean xgsch2pcb? If so, it seems to be non-maintained these
days. What sort of scripts do you want to execute there? In what
language? (xgsch2pcb is written in python, and if your scripts are
written in python it should be easy to accomodate them for the
program.)
