Hi folks,

In my multi-layer board, I have Layer 2 split into analog and digital ground planes, and want a single-point connection between the two (on Layer 2).

In boards with the split planes on an external layer (top or bottom) I’ve used a physical component (e.g. a 1206 resistor, 0 ohms) for the single-point connection.
But that won’t work on an interior layer (well, not without a via to an external layer or something similar).

What’s the latest on the status of making a copper connection in pcb between two different nets in gschem?

By the way, I see that I’m not the first to ask this:

Just curious if there is a resolution yet, and if not, what workarounds do you suggest?  (e.g. vias to a 0 ohm resistor on the top or bottom layer).
