I created my first footprint using a text editor and it seems correct and i
can load it into a blank pcb, so i added it correctly to my library path
etc. However when i have a schematic and use the filename as the footprint
ttribute of a device, gsch2pcb does not connect the dots for some reason.
My question is what field in my .fp drives the footprint name? I assume it
is in the element field, or the file name, both of which seem to match
here. Can anyone confirm what is the driving data?
thanks
