You've taken my statement out of context, or you misunderstood the flow
of the conversation.

Dj said I was impolite and uncivil, here:

Dj> And certainly, the djgpp list has long encouraged people to be
Dj> polite and civil, not contemptuous and demanding.

Being "contemptuous and demanding" was in regards to OP when I
said the following:

RP> This is not a Google Group. We bottom post on Usenet, as it's
RP> difficult to follow longer posts when top posted.

There was nothing uncivil or impolite by stating that, nor
contemptuous and demanding for that matter.

Dj then responded with this, where he indicated that I was being
contemptuous and demanding:

Dj> This is not a dictatorship. We don't tell people how to compose
Dj> messages.

...

Again, I think you're seriously confused about the flow of the
conversation and are commenting on something else.

If you're upset over excessive use of force by police, leave your
basketball court or football field, go down to your police station and
picket. You can do that peacefully any day of the week without
disrespecting the American flag.
