Let me me further clairfy my statement above. I am able to compile programs within DVX (DJGPP V1.12) without any problems so far. Emacs 20.5 (I believe) runs okay in a DOS window or by setting up a DVP for it in DVX. I noticed that it brought the system down on "exit" though. I have V1.12 and V2.03 on this system. I have not installed emacs for V1 yet.

I will be glad to test compile and test a certin version if someone wants me too. I think there is an "oemacs" port on Bruce Maggs DVX ports webpage. I'm just working my way up the ladder on testing things out.
